Paua Shell Necklace - Family of 5
Nostalgem
A cluster of farm pāua abalone shells hangs on a fine sterling silver chain necklace. The intimate cradling of the shells symbolises the unity of each loved one or family (whānau*) member they represent.
Made from beachsand clay and pāua shell. Shaped to look like turquoise-toned stones with fossil-like glints of shell. In Māori tradition, pāua symbolises harmony and relationships (just like these clustered shells).
Sustainable and one-of-a-kind. Crafted from repurposed pāua shells from local farms.
Fine sterling silver chain. Delicate yet strong, it gives the illusion of floating stones along your collarbone.
Shell height: approx 15-20mm
Chain: adjustable, 40-45cm/16-18in long
